HISTORY: In PIA, Scouting started by forming a Rover Crew in 1967. Later on in 1973, after its gradual growth, it was given a status of province in National Scouting. Now it has ten Districts having a total strength of approximately 1700 Saheen Scouts, Boy Scouts, Rover Scouts, warranted and non-warranted scouters. Since last few years scouting has been widely projected and promoted in PIA under the dedicated team work of voluteer scouters.

ACIEVEMENTS:

- Covering entire area of Pakistan, having districts in all major cities of the country
- Deployment of 40 scouts every year at Jeddah Airport to serve the Hajis.
- Exclusive services of PIA Scouts at the domestic Airports for intending Hajis.
- Establishment of PIA Cricket Academy, A joint venture of PIA Scouts & PIA sports division, the only project of this kind in the scouting World, Where, around 1600 boys got their coaching from the former test cricketers belonging to PIA.
- Running of a Karate Club.
- Holding the position of international commissioner since last 18 years.
- Active contribution of its officials in producing scouting literature.
