Brief History of Provincial Association:
          The Punjab Boy Scouts Association is Branch of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association. It is registered under the Societies Registration act XXI of 1860 and is a body Corporate under Pakistan Boy Scouts Association Ordinance No.XLIII of 1959, issued by General Mohammad Ayub Khan.
          The Boy Scout Movement started in Punjab in 1912 with its offices just outside Governor's House, Lahore. It was shifted to the present site at Walton during 1927 on the suggestion of Col.Walton who was the principal of Walton Railway Training School.
          The provincial Scouts Headquarter at Walton Lahore, Pakistan is spread over 43 Acres of Land which include provate as well as leased land. The Government has taken over Boy Scouts property including private land and buildings at Walton for the construction of Bab-e-Pakistan. In exchange of above property the Government has alloted on permanent basis a piece of 112 Kanals land for the construction of Boy Scout Complex.
           The entire construction cost of this complex would be borne by the Government. Camping grounds, Administrative Block, Boy Scout Hostel, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, Mosque, Residences for the Emplyees, Lecture Rooms, Computer Lab, etc. will be the main feature of the New Complex.
            The new Boy Scout Headquarters will soon become a Hub of activities. Boy Scouts of Punjab and other provinces will benefit from this new headquarters.
