Profile of Mr Muhammad Shuaib,

International Commissioner, Pakistan Boy Scouts Association

Mr. Muhammad Shuaib is the International Commissioner of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association since his election by the National Council in October 2009

Well recognized in scout circles, Mr Shuaib has been voluntarily associated with PIA Boy Scouts Association as Asstt. Provincial Commissioner. He has also served as President of PIA Cricket Academy, which is a unique department of PIA Boy Scouts Association aimed at making effective use of resources for developing skills of budding cricketers. Earlier, as an Assistant Provincial Commissioner (Training & Program) of PIA-BSA, he successfully led the implementation of new training and program policies for youth and adults in the Province. Earlier, he remained Consultant (Policies & Organization) of the Association.   It is worthwhile to mention that Mr Shuaib was one of the coordinators of 5th Asia Pacific Regional Seminar-Workshop on Public Relations, held in Pakistan in 1994. He also participated as a Resource Person in the 3rd APR Advanced Management Course for Professional Scout Executives, held in 2005 in Pakistan.
 
Mr Shuaib is a Management Professional and is currently working as Corporate Secretary of Pakistan’s National Flag Carrier, PIA. A Gold Medalist Masters in Business Administration and a Law Graduate, he served PIA in different positions which include Secretary Board’s Audit Committee; Assistant Corporate Secretary and Deputy General Manager (Corporate Affairs).  Mr Shuaib had also briefly worked for National Police Foundation of Pakistan and National Bank of Pakistan. He is a “Certified Director” from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance, as accredited by Risk Metrics Group, USA.   Mr Shuaib has visited different countries around the globe which include Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, USA, UK, and UAE.
